
Justin Johnson Named NBLC Player of the Week

The National Basketball League of Canada is pleased to announce that Justin Johnson of the Halifax Hurricanes has been named Player of the Week for the week ending January 3, 2016. This is the first time this season that a Hurricanes player has received this honour.
Johnson, a 6'2", 175 guard who played collegiately at Concordia (Calif.), averaged 22 points per game in four consecutive Halifax victories to put the Hurricanes atop the NBL's Atlantic Division. Johnson also went 11-for-17 from three-point range in those four games, including hitting four consecutive treys in a 124-121 overtime win against Moncton.
