Junior Falcons Learn from the Pros Next Week

Fresno, Calif. – Current and former Fresno Falcons players will pass along their hockey skills and knowledge to aspiring Falcons ages five through 18 at the third annual Two-One Hockey School from July 19 – 23 at Gateway Ice Center.

Heading up the list of professional hockey players working as instructors at the hockey camp are two Falcons all-time greats: the organization's all-time leading scorer and current Las Vegas Wranglers Head Coach Glen Gulutzan and long-time captain and current Falcons Head Coach Greg Spenrath.

Scheduled to join Gulutzan and Spenrath on the ice with the young skaters are current and former Falcons players such as Jordan Landry, Jason Weaver, Joe Frederick, Terry Friesen, Mike Mathers, Kory Mullin, Cory Murphy and Kris Porter.

The first on-ice sessions begin Monday morning at 8:30 a.m. and run until 5 p.m. each day. The campers are broken down into three skill levels with each group receiving all day instruction from their Falcons heroes while they participate in two on-ice sessions as well as off-ice conditioning and games each day.

Spenrath and Gulutzan's respective teams open the 2004-05 campaign against one another at Save Mart Center on Oct. 22 when the Falcons host the Wranglers.
