The Rapids were very active in the community in June and we got off to a great start on the field too. In July, the team will be holding a series of theme nights to support local groups and have fun at the Fairgrounds!
Watertown Daily Times - July 8th - 5:05pm
On July 8th, the Rapids will be hosting a Watertown Daily Times Family Day. The Times will have a table at the game with posters to hand out for players to sign. This game also has a 5:05 P.M start time with the Babe Ruth League having a game following the Rapids.
Samaritan Health Night - July 16th - 7:05pm
Employee's from Samaritan Health will be coming out on July 16th for an appreciation night at the ballpark. Employees will be able to purchase discounted tickets for only $2.00 with their Samaritan ID. The proceeds from these ticket sales will be donated to The Walker Center for Cancer Care & The Center for Women & Children. Samaritan employees will also be doing their own 50/50 raffle with 100% of those proceeds also going to both centers.
Military Appreciation Night - July 20th - 7:05pm
Get ready for some fireworks and fun on July 20th as we honor our military members. The Rapids will be wearing military themed jerseys for the game and those jerseys will be auctioned off with proceeds going to the Fort Drum National Infantry Association. Plenty of fun activities and giveaways at the game for all those in attendance.
Christmas in July / Chamber Night - July 26th - 7:05pm
Who says Christmas is only fun in December? Come out on July 26th to be a part of our fun-filled day. Not only do we have a Christmas in July theme, but we will be having a diaper drive and teddy bear toss to benefit local charities. Members of all the Chambers in the area will also be able to purchase a special $15.00 ticket that includes food and drinks in our party deck area.
First Responders Night - July 28th - 7:05pm
On July 28th, we will be having a first responders game followed by post-game fireworks. They will also receive a ticket special that is pre-sale only for $15.00 that comes with two drinks and a hot dog. The first responders and service club members will have their own area down by the first base dugout. An ambulance and fire truck will also be displayed outside the ballpark.
Race Against Poverty - July 30th - 7:05pm
Earlier in June, some of our players helped out at the Race Against Poverty in downtown Watertown. Now it's our turn to give back as we are inviting them out on July 30th with fundraising tickets to benefit the Race Against Poverty.
Fan Appreciation Night - July 31st - 7:05pm
Yes, you read this correctly. This night is all about the fans. As the regular season comes to a close and the Rapids continue their playoff push, we will be honoring our fans with their own night. We will have numerous giveaways, on-field activities and chances to catch tee-shirts. Most importantly, we want to show the fans we appreciate them supporting us throughout our inaugural season.
