
Jr. K-Wings Fakler to Speak at USA Hockey Event

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Jr. K-Wings, proud member of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), announces general manager and head coach Marc Fakler will participating as a speaker this weekend at a USA Hockey event in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Fakler will be speaking this weekend at a Level 4 Advanced Clinic from May 18th-20th. Joining the K-Wings general manager/head coach will be former NHL head coach and former K-Wings assistant coach Kevin Constantine, head coach of Robert Morris University-Division I Derek Schooley, head coach, Ducs d'Angers, a team competing in France's top-tier Ligue Magnus Jay Varady and longtime head coach at Mercyhurst University NCAA Division I Rick Gotkin.
Having a strong partnership with USA Hockey, Fakler has worked with the USA Hockey's Coaches Education Program since 2002, served as a coach at the USA Hockey's National Player Development Camps from 2004-2009 and was a speaker during the 2009 National Coaches Symposium, a bi-annual event for coaches seeking USA Hockey's Level 5 Master's certification, the highest certification within USA Hockey's Coaches Education Program
This weekend continues a busy month of May for Fakler and the Jr. K-Wings, who will host a tryout camp next weekend (May 25th-May 27th) at Wings West and will end the month with the NAHL Draft (May 31st).
