Josh Sanderson Wins 'Pinty's Wingman of the Week'

Oakville, ON - The National Lacrosse League today announced Toronto Rock forward Josh Sanderson as the "Pinty's Wingman of the Week" award winner for Week 1 of the 2015 NLL regular season. Sanderson, who ranks third in NLL all-time history with 801 career assists, recorded a league-high seven assists this past Saturday in the Rock's 13-12 season-opening road win over the Rochester Knighthawks.
Pinty's is an official partner for the NLL on TSN during the 2015 season. Each week, an NLL player will receive the "Pinty's Wingman of the Week" award based on their performance with respect to passing prowess and playmaking abilities. The weekly award winners will be entered into the pool of finalists for the "Pinty's Wingman of the Year" award at the end of the season.
Sanderson will help lead Toronto in Week 2 on the road against the Vancouver Stealth for a Canadian-rivalry matchup, set to air live on TSN2 & TSN GO in Canada on Saturday, January 10th at 10:30pm ET.
