Jordan Skellett Named The State Farm Player Of The Week

(Saginaw, MI) Saginaw Spirit winger Jordan Skellett has been named the State Farm Player of the Week following his efforts in the last three Spirit games, from January 11 through January 18. This week's State Farm Player of the Week honors are brought to you by Agent Mike Miner of Saginaw, Agent Karl Briggs of Saginaw, and Agent Duffy Duncan of Bay City.

Skellett tallied three goals and two assists in three games last weekend, including a three point effort (two goals, one assist) against the Niagara IceDogs on Friday, January 15. The London, Ontario native has notched 19 goals and 47 assists in 44 games this season, and was recently named Saginaw's representative to the 2010 OHL All-Star Classic.

Tickets are on sale now! The team is on the road this weekend for three consecutive away games, but return to action in Saginaw on January 28 and January 30. Tickets are on sale now for both games, which start at 7:11 PM.
