We're inviting you to join us from your living rooms on Thursday night (March 11, 2021) as we build up the buzz for our return to Major League Rugby action!
Back in the olden days, when we all (understandably!) took large, in-person gatherings for granted, we'd usually host a big ol' party where our fans would help us kick off our season. There'd be good fun, good cheer, and plenty of good opportunities to wish our players and staff well before they commenced their 18-week MLR campaign.
Despite the fact that we're still going to have to wait a little bit longer until it's safe to hold these sorts of gatherings again, we still want to keep our tradition of hosting a pre-season celebration going strong.
So we're bringing the party online.
At Thursday night's Arrows Season Launch Party live stream, we're going to hear from Bill Webb (President and General Partner), check in with a couple of members of the team, showcase some training and highlight videos, and make an announcement or two.
...and fans, just because we can't all meet together in one place doesn't mean we aren't able to send Arrows players and staff our full support before they head down to Atlanta! We're calling on you to send them off in style with a farewell message!
Here's what we need from our supporters, from those at home in Toronto to those around the globe:
Take a video with your message for the boys; no more than 45 seconds in length, and landscape / horizontal video is preferred!
To submit the video, post it to Twitter or Instagram and tag us // send it to us via DM // send to fans@torontoarrows.com
We'll compile the messages, and will share them with the team before the start of the season
If your messages are submitted by end-of-day on Wednesday (March 10), we'll be able to include a few of them in the Season Launch Party live stream
So get your Arrows gear ready to go for Thursday night - the good cheer will kick off at 8PM ET on our Facebook channel. See you then!
