Friday, September 8th, the Camden Riversharks will be hosting Philadelphia Soul Night at Campbell's Field. Special appearances will be made by Soul players, members of the Soul coaching staff, Soulman and the Soul front office. Bring this email to the Riversharks box office and save 50% on your tickets. Gates will open at 6:00 p.m. and the game will begin at 7:00 p.m. Following the game, there will be a fireworks show, so bring the family out and enjoy a great night.

Also, come early to see WR/LB Sean Scott throw out the first pitch and watch the Riversharks try to move up the Atlantic League standings.

Campbell's Field is located on 401 N. Delaware Ave, Camden, NJ 08102.

Player Tryout in Philly

On Saturday, September 23, the Soul coaches will host their first tryout for the 2007 season at Temple University (Geasey Field) on turf located on 15th Street in between Montgomery and Norris Streets.

The registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. and the tryout will start at 9:00 a.m.

During the tryout, all players will be evaluated in the 40-yard dash and 20-yard short shuttle. Players will then go through position drills and one-on-one drills, both offensively and defensively.

All participants may register on www.philadelphiasoul.com or on-site for the tryout and may register ahead of time at www.philadelphiasoul.com to receive a discounted rate of $40. Participants who pay the day of the event must pay $50 cash or money order to participate if they fail to pay online.

All registered participants will receive an official Philadelphia Soul tryout t-shirt. All participants will need to provide their own workout attire: shoes, shorts and accessories. The Philadelphia Soul are not responsible for travel or lodging expenses.
