Port Huron Icehawks News Release
PORT HURON, MI - The Port Huron Icehawks invite fans to join the players for drinks and hors d'oeuvres at a special Icehawks cocktail hour on Monday, February 23 at the Fogcutter Restaurant in Port Huron.
The event will run from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. and include an array of appetizers and a cash bar. Cost for the event is just $15. Icehawks players will serve and bartend. All tips the players collect will benefit the Port Huron Hospital Foundation.
A live and silent auction will take place during the night, with the chance to win some great memorabilia. You will also have the opportunity to win a "kiss" and a photo with your favorite player, or the voice of the Detroit Red Wings, Karen Newman. A player auction will be held, as well. Place a bid for the opportunity to have lunch with one of your favorite players.
The evening will also include the debut of "It's Our Time Now", a DVD that highlights the Icehawks 2008-09 season.
"The Icehawks are happy to partner with the Fogcutter Restaurant to put on this event," Icehawks Vice President and Business Manager Dave Goetze said. "It will be a great evening to mingle with the players and other Icehawks fans and enjoy some quality food and drink at a classy restaurant."
Reserve your spot today at the Icehawks office, 325 Huron Avenue, Port Huron, or by calling the Icehawks office at 810-966-3800. Please make checks payable to Kinney Charities.
