Johnstown To Make First Pick In Inaugural AIFL Draft

The Johnstown Riverhawks are now on the clock!

The Johnstown Riverhawks will have the first pick in the inaugural Atlantic Indoor Football League player draft to be held January 22 in Washington, D.C.

The league announced the order in which teams will select players in each of the draft's 10 rounds. The players who are selected earned their eligibility by participating in one of three league combines recently held.

Each team will pick one player per round.

Following the Riverhawks, the Carolina Sharks will have the second draft pick. The Erie Freeze will choose third in each round. New franchises in Canton (fourth), Team #5 (TBA 1/19)(fifth) and Team #6 (TBA 1/19) (sixth) round out the draft order.

Complete results of the draft will be posted on the league's website.
