FREDERICK, MD (AUGUST 12, 2011) - Today Dash LHP Garrett Johnson was placed on the disabled list. There is no corresponding roster move at this time.
Johnson was promoted from low-A Kannapolis to Winston-Salem on July 13 and appeared in six Carolina League games. He did not earn a decision and posted a 4.32 ERA in 8.1 innings. The 6'10" lefty has missed most of this season recovering from a hip injury.
The Dash roster now has 24 active players, one below the Carolina League limit.
