
John Murray Named Oakley CHL Goalie of the Week

Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees News Release
The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees, in conjunction with the Central Hockey League, announced that Killer Bees goalie John Murray was named the Oakley CHL Goalie of the Week on Tuesday. Murray went 3-0 during the past week allowing only three goals.
Murray shutout the Laredo Bucks on Sunday to start the week on a high note making 41 saves in his second full shutout of the season.
Murray followed that game up on Wednesday with 32 save on 33 shot performance once again against Laredo.
Murray finished his perfect week with a 38 saves (36 shots) win over Arizona on Friday night.
All told Murray made 112 saves on 115 shots for a .973 save percentage.
The Killer Bees are in Bloomington to face the Blaze on Wednesday night before traveling to Dayton on Friday and Quad City on Saturday. Fans can follow the game on 956sports.com and CHL-TV.
