Wyoming Cavalry 2003 Defensive Line Standout Joe Anderson remains in critical condition at Wyoming Medical Center after suffering a stroke last Wednesday July 16.
Realizing Joe's recovery will be long and financially devastating his friends and supporters have created the Joe Anderson Recovery Fund. As of this date the recovery fund committee is working on developing a fundraiser scheduled for August 23rd at Mike Sedar Park from 11-3.
The fundraising event will consist of a celebrity flag football game featuring local celebrities and National Indoor Football League players. Food and beverages will be provided for a minimal donation. We will also be raffling off numerous items, which have been donated by local businesses.
More details of the event will be provided as planning evolves.
Donations to the Joe Anderson Recovery Fund can be made at any Wells Fargo Bank Branch.
