Fargo (ND) The Fargo-Moorhead Jets are proud to announce that assistant captain Ryan Cramer (International Falls, MN) has accepted a scholarship offer to play at Division I Bemidji State beginning next Fall.
Cramer becomes the first player this season to sign with a college, and is the 13th FM Jet player to sign with a Division I school. Overall, he is the 18th player to sign with the NCAA.
"Playing Division I hockey has always been a goal of mine, this is exciting" said Cramer.
In his second season in Fargo-Moorhead, Cramer has been one of the team's leaders all season both on and off the ice. He is currently tied for the team lead in points with 26 (11 goals). Over the course of his Jets' career, Cramer has 55 points (24 goals).
Bemidji State already sports one former FM Jet, in sophomore Shane Holman.
The FM Jets are the 2005 Borne Cup Champions and are entering their third season as members of the North American Hockey League. The NAHL is the nation's largest Junior A hockey league and is now in its 30th year of operation.
Jets home games are played at the John E. Carlson Coliseum in Fargo, ND. All games are broadcast at STAR 103.9 and fmjets.com.
