(Fargo, ND) Johnson and Harrison bring a little extra to the table in the 4-3 and 3-2 losses to Southern MN.
Offensive: Andrew Harrison (Temperance, MI) has been in the North American Hockey League for years now in his last year and a playoff push leads the Jets. Over the three-game weekend Harrison compiled five points (2G, 3A) and was even on the ice. On Thursday night in Alexandria he netted a goal and an assist with six shots on net. Friday night in Owatonna he dished out two assists in the 4-3 loss. Saturday night Harrison got the game's second goal as the Jets fell 3-2 again to Southern MN.
"We've searching for a leader and he did just that over the weekend," adds coach Kinslow.
On the season Harrison has skated in 36 games providing 29 points (15G, 14A).
Defensive: Mark Johnson (Bloomington, MN) rejoined the team after returning from the Top Prospects in Ann Arbor, MI with a goal, assist and a plus- 2. Johnson continues to work well with the puck on Thursday when finished with a goal and an assist at Alexandria. Friday and Saturday Johnson held his own by being smart with the puck while the games were one goal loses. Johnson leads the defensive core in scoring and goals.
"Smart with the puck and good awareness of his surroundings make him a complete player and coach's dream," proclaims coach Kinslow.
On the season Johnson has appeared in 45 games gaining 24 points (9G, 15A) and a plus- 11.
