(Fargo, ND) Kirchhevel and Johnson extend their play versus Alexandria in a home-and-home set.
Offensive: Justin Kirchhevel (Brookings, SD) played in both games over the weekend collecting a pair of goals. He's been putting on a much show on the ice than recent weeks which has in return gotten him more skating time.
"He asserted himself in the right positions to make plays and we needed that," states coach Kinslow.
On the season Kirchhevel has skated in all 13 games providing nine points (2G, 7A) while maintaining a +1.
Defensive: Mark Johnson (Bloomington, MN) played smart, decisive and down right hard this past weekend. On Saturday he registered a plus- 1 but put two shots on net in the 5-3 loss. Sunday night saw Mark Johnson take it up a notch to 110% by taking the puck from end to end collecting an assist on Schumacher's goal.
"He's made some big plays for us this weekend and once again proved why he has been our best defensemen," states coach Kinslow.
On the season Johnson has appeared in all 34 games lighting up for 15 points (7G, 9A) with a +7.
