(Fargo, ND) In a first two game series against the Springfield Jr. Blues the Jet's saw contributions all weekend from guys who have worked hard to get ice time.

Defensive Player: Mark Johnson (Bloomington, MN) scored his third goal of year and provided another solid performance on defense.

Johnson has been a great key to a defense that had big shoes to fill. "Mark has been very consistent for us so far even though were not looking for our defenders to score ton, he has definitely helped," Coach Chad Johnson added Monday.

On the season Johnson has netted six points (3G, 3A) and has a +4.

Offensive Player: Mike Schumacher (Duluth, MN) added three goals to bring his season total to four. All during the four game home stand that saw the Jets post a 3-0-1 record.

"He has worked hard and has gotten his chance to break out making the best of playing time," explained Chad Johnson.

Overall, Schumacher has 4 points (4G, 0A) playing in all games so far.

The FM Jets Junior A Hockey Club is in its fifth season as members of the North American Hockey League. The NAHL is the nation's largest Junior A hockey league and is now in its 32nd year of operation. For more information, visit fmjets.com or call (701) 235-2354.
