Fargo-Moorhead Jets News Release
(Fargo, ND) - With a new guy in the locker room in Justin Kirchevel (Brookings, SD) and Sean McNeely (Brooklyn Park, MN) in the line-up the Jets still fail, 5-4.
In the first it was Andrew Harrison (Temperance, MI) who got the Jets on the board 1-0 before leaving with a cut under his eye in the second. Ben Beaudoin (Inver Grove Ht, MN) added a snipe on an odd man rush making it 1-1 ending the first.
Brian Arrigoni (St. Paul, MN) opened up the second with a goal giving the Express a 2-1 lead. Robby Philipp (Thief River Falls, MN) tied it up on the power-play but it wouldn't be enough as Vince Unclesbay (Maplewood, MN) put the Express up for good at 3-2 finishing off the second.
It would be too little too late as Kirchevel and Andy Dittus (Minot, ND) pulled the Jets within one at 5-4 but that would be the final.
The Jets head on the road to Owatonna, MN to play a two game set against the Express. Both games will be heard on 103.9 "The Truck" and www.fmjets.com with starts at 7pm.
