(Lancaster, CA) - Brian Rose had three hits for the JetHawks on Sunday, but four unearned runs proved to be the difference as the Visalia Oaks downed the JetHawks 9-4. Lancaster finished the first half of the season with a 37-33 record.
Along with Rose's three hits, the JetHawks also got a two-run home run from Danny Richar.
Miguel Montero had three hits for the second game in a row and finishes the half with a total of 105 hits, the most in minor league baseball.
Chris Kinsey (3-10) suffered the loss for the JetHawks. He allowed five runs on five hits over five innings in the game.
The JetHawks open a six game road trip on Monday in San Jose. Matt Chico will go to the mound in the series opener for the JetHawks. Ryan Sodowski will get the ball for the Giants in the 7:00 game.
