
Jersey Express Defeat First State Fusion

Madison, NJ - The Jersey Express hosted the First State Fusion on Saturday night, for it's Post Thanksgiving Day Game. It was a highly contested game from start to finish, with the Jersey Express coming away with a 109-102 victory.
The Jersey Express were led by Justin Leith who recorded his first double double of the season with 20 points and 15 rebounds. Nick Boyd chipped in 19, with Joey Britto and Gabriel Inglis each scoring 18 points in the win. Derick Payne, led First State with 22 points, and C.J. Vick chipped in 10 points and 12 rebounds.
The Express overpowered First State inside with the combination of Leith and Inglis, and were tough to defend on the perimeter with Boyd and Britto knocking down three pointers. First State inserted Bo Taylor late in the fourth quarter, and he helped bring them to within four, before former Seton Hall star Marcus Toney-El made several key drives to the basket on back to back plays, that sealed the victory in the fourth quarter.
The Jersey Express next home game will be on Sunday, December 9th @ 4pm, Vs division rival, the Strong Island Sound.
