Jeff Jarnigan Named Arizona Rattlers General Manager

PHOENIX - The six-time world champion Arizona Rattlers have appointed former Assistant General Manager Jeff Jarnigan to take over the role of General Manager in preparation for the 2021 Indoor Football League season.

Jarnigan will be entering his fifth season with the Rattlers, after joining the team in 2016. Jarnigan also spent seven seasons with the San Jose Sabercats in a variety of different coaching capacities, in addition to being the defensive coordinator for the Austin Wranglers in 2004.

In addition to his coaching background, Jarnigan brings 21 years of sales experience with him to the Rattlers. Before serving as the Rattlers' Assistant General Manager for each of the past four seasons, Jarnigan also served as Director of Corporate Sales for the San Jose Sabercats, overseeing the team's day-to-day business operations throughout his duration with the team.

Jarnigan also carries head coaching experience with him, having served as head coach for the IFL's Minnesota Rage in 2000, before he was named head coach of the Oklahoma City Yard Dogz from 2005-2006.

From 1988 to 1999, Jarnigan was employed by four different collegiate programs: (Fort Hays State University, Bethel College, Morningside College and Carleton College), serving mostly as either an offensive line or defensive line coach.

The Midwest City, Oklahoma native played football at Southwestern College from 1982-1987.
