PORTLAND, November 26, 2008 - The Portland LumberJax have released forward Trent Smalley and defenseman Paddy Corrigan, Head Coach/General Manager Derek Keenan announced today.
Smalley is a two-year National Lacrosse League veteran who last played with the Edmonton Rush in 2006, appearing in 10 games and scoring six points (5 goals, 1 assist). The Ladner, British Columbia native also plays for the Coquitlam Adanacs in the Western Lacrosse Association. He scored 18 goals and added 23 assists during the 2008 regular season.
Corrigan appeared in 18 games this season for the Maple Ridge Burrards of the WLA, scoring five goals and adding six assists.
