Greenville Swamp Rabbits News Release

HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL - The Greenville Road Warriors announced today that goalie Jason Missiaen has been reassigned to the team by the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League.

Missiaen returns to Greenville after backing up the last two games for the American Hockey League's Connecticut Whale. He is 5-3-1 with the Road Warriors this season with a 2.43 goals-against average and a .926 save percentage. His three shutouts are tied for second most in the league while his goal-against average would rank sixth and save percentage fifth if he had enough minutes played to be counted with the league leaders.

Missiaen has arrived in Chicago where the Road Warriors will square off against the Express at 4:00 p.m. CST this evening and he is expected to be in the lineup.

Mark your calendars! The Road Warriors return home to take on the Gwinnett Gladiators on Thursday, January 12 at 7:35 p.m. at the BI-LO Center. Come join the Road Warriors for a Throwback Thursday which features $2 draft beers, fountain drinks, hot dogs, and pretzels. College students can also get in for just $6 with a valid ID. Groups of 10 or more can also save off the box office price and get preferred seating based on availability. Call 864-674-PUCK (7825) to talk to a Road Warriors representative.
