
Jason McCabe to Participate in Silverbacks Game

(TROY,OH)-Local Special Olympics sports broadcaster, Jason McCabe will join the Silverbacks broadcast team this weekend for Saturday's game against Steubenville.
"I sat down last night to read the Troy Daily News and saw the article on Jason", said Sue Keeton, Director of PR and Broadcasting. "He's an inspiration and obviously has a passion for what he does. We're thrilled to have him participating in this weekend's game operations."
McCabe will take on a very important role and introduce the Silverbacks players during pre-game festivities. He'll sit in with Silverbacks broadcasters Joe Neves and Rod Hissong as they call the game. "This has been a dream for Jason and he's so excited to have an opportunity to work for a professional indoor football team," Tara Fulker, Service and Support Administrator for Riverside MRDD of Miami County.
On Saturday, the Silverbacks will give away $1000 cash at halftime to one lucky winner, upon confirmation of 3000 in attendance. Anyone who purchases tickets to Saturday's game that shows a college id will receive $2 off the ticket price.
The Silverbacks play at Hobart Arena in Troy. Ticket prices start at $10. Kids under 12 can get in for only $5 with the purchase of an adult ticket. To purchase tickets, call the Hobart Arena box office at 937.339.2911 or stop by during regular business hours.
