
January Undergoes Successful Knee Surgery

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana Fever announced that third-year point guard Briann January underwent successful knee surgery Monday to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in her right knee. The surgery was performed by team orthopedist Dr. Stephen Kollias at the Indiana Orthopaedic Hospital. She is expected to make a full recovery and is hopeful to return for Fever training camp next spring.
A WNBA playoff participant in six straight seasons and seven times since 2002, the Eastern Conference-leading Indiana Fever continues its 12th season by hosting the Los Angeles Sparks on Sunday, July 31 (6:00 p.m.).
