
Jamestown Vikings Sign Defenseman Cory Anderson

(Jamestown, New York) Jamestown Vikings Head Coach & Director of Hockey Operations, Josh Powers, today announced that defenseman Cory Anderson has agreed to terms and will be in the Vikings training camp when the pre-season gets underway on October 25th at the Jamestown Savings Bank Ice Arena.
Cory Anderson, 26, is a native of Long Beach, California. The 6'-0", 220 lbs defenseman has previous professional experience having briefly played for the Flint Generals (UHL) and the Winston-Salem Polar Twins (SPHL) along with the Northern Michigan Predators (IIHL). Anderson began his hockey career playing junior hockey for the Bay Cities Bombers (Western States Hockey League) and the Traverse City Enforcers (North American Hockey League).
The Jamestown Vikings will begin their inaugural Mid-Atlantic Hockey League season on Friday, November 2nd at the Jamestown Savings Bank Ice Arena against the Valley Forge Freedom.
