Published on April 14, 2014 under Indoor Football League (IFL) News Release
Episode 8 of the IFL's weekly podcast, "This Week in the IFL", is now available. The podcast can be found on the homepage of the IFL website.
The first guest on this week's program is Sioux Falls Storm WR James Terry. The All-Time great WR ranks at or near the top of every career receiving IFL record. He is off to another great start to the 2014 season, catching 24 passes for 224 yards and 5 TDs. Off the field, Terry started the "Touchdown for Ty!" charitable foundation that raises awareness about child abuse and 100% of the proceeds goes towards supporting abused and neglected victims at the Children's Home Society in Sioux Falls. It is a great and noble cause and anyone wishing to get involved can email teamty4life@gmail.com.
The IFL's newest franchise, the Billings Wolves, will begin play during the 2015 season. The Wolves will be the second team from Billings to compete in the IFL. The Billings Outlaws won the first two IFL United Bowl Championship before being forced to cease operations after the 2010 season because of the destruction of their arena caused by a tornado. The Rimrock Auto Arena at MetraPark has since been rebuilt and IFL football will be back in the Billings community next spring. GM Marc Burr joins the program to give an update on the progress being made in Billings.
