
Jacks Trade Brannen to Rocky Mountain Rage

(Odessa, TX) - Today the Odessa Jackalopes completed a trade which sent defenseman Chris Brannen to the Rocky Mountain Rage in exchange for future considerations. Brannen spent the last three seasons in a Jackalopes uniform, appearing in 184 games and scoring 33 points (seven goals, 26 assists).
Brannen was also the recipient of the Nick Lamia Community Spirit Award each of the last two seasons. The award is given to the Jackalopes who is most involved in the team's community efforts.
"He did everything we ever asked of him in the community," said Jacks Director of Community Relations, Kyle Rodgers.
The Odessa Jackalopes will begin their 12th season on October 17th when they travel to Arizona to face the defending champion Sundogs. The team will open it's home schedule on Halloween against the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees.
