Jacks Announce 2011-12 Promotional Schedule

ODESSA, TX - The Odessa Jackalopes announced on Tuesday the 2011-12 promotion schedule for their inaugural season as a member of the North American Hockey League. Below is a list of dates and promotions that will take place at the Ector County Coliseum throughout the course of the season:

Fri., Sept. 30 vs. Corpus Christi: Magnet schedule giveaway to the first 1,000 fans; It will also be ORMC Night, as well as Odessa Boys & Girls Club Night at the Coliseum; corporate partners include Rodney Hurt Insurance; CBS 7 and KCRS 550 AM;

Sat., Oct. 1 vs. Corpus Christi: 15th Anniversary Puck for the first 1,000 fans, as well as a post-game autograph session on the ice with the players; corporate partners include KISS 103 FM.

Thurs., Oct. 20 vs. New Mexico: Chick-Fil-A Family Night - 4 tickets, 4 meals, 4 programs for $30; Corporate Sponsors include West Texas Radio.

Sat., Oct. 22 vs. Amarillo: Jackalopes T-shirt giveaway to the first 1,000 fans; corporate partners include Southwestern Machine, CBS 7 and KCRS 550 AM;

Thurs., Oct. 27 vs. Topeka: Chick-Fil-A Family Night - 4 tickets, 4 meals, 4 programs for $30; Corporate Sponsors include West Texas Radio.

Sat., Oct. 29 vs. Topeka: Pink in the Rink; The Jackalopes will raise funds for breast cancer awareness and skate in pink jerseys and use pink sticks; a post-game jersey auction will take place in the Coliseum annex immediately following the game.

Fri., Nov. 11 vs. New Mexico: "11/11/11 Night"; get any seat in the house for only $11; Veterans will be admitted free;

Thurs., Nov. 17 vs. Amarillo: Chick-Fil-A Family Night - 4 tickets, 4 meals, 4 programs for $30; Corporate Sponsors include West Texas Radio.

Sat., Dec. 3 vs. Wichita Falls: Come help celebrate Slapjack's birthday with other Permian Basin mascots at an in-game birthday party; corporate partners include Kersh Car Wash.

Sat., Dec. 10 vs. Wenatchee: Team bag giveaway; the first 1,000 fans will receive a backpack-style drawstring bag, courtesy of University Health Mart and West Texas Radio Group.

Sat., Dec. 17 vs. Amarillo: Team poster giveaway; the first 1,000 fans will receive a special 15th anniversary poster; corporate partners include KFZX 102.1 FM;

Sat., Dec. 31 vs. Texas: Help ring in the New Year with an on-ice post-game autograph session with the Jackalopes players immediately following the game.

Fri., Jan 27 vs. Amarillo: Mini hockey stick giveaway; the first 1,000 fans will receive a wooden mini-stick, compliments of Hughes Oilfield Transportation and 96.1 My Country FM.

Sat., Jan. 28 vs. Corpus Christi: Ice is Nice - Some lucky fan will walk away with a genuine diamond ring during an in-game promotion.

Fri., Feb. 3 vs. Fresno: It's Legend's Weekend, and the first 1,000 fans will receive a one-of-a-kind Jackalopes soft-side lunch box. The Jackalopes players will be wearing a specially designed Jackalopes jersey during both weekend games. Fans can mingle with Jackalopes players from the past all weekend.

Sat., Feb 4 vs. Fresno: The final night of Legend's Weekend, meet former Jackalopes players and become part of the action by taking part in the post-game jersey auction.

Fri., Feb. 24 vs. Corpus Christi: Team Photo Giveaway Night: Pick up what's sure to be a collector's item as the first 1,000 fans will receive a free team picture of the Jackalopes' inaugural team in the NAHL.

Fri., March 2 vs. Corpus Christi: Youth Jersey Night - the first 1,000 fans entering the Coliseum will receive a Jacks replica youth jersey, compliments of Security Bank and ORMC.

Sat., March 3 vs. Corpus Christi: Goalie mask giveaway & Faith Night; the first 1,000 fans will receive a classic Jackalopes goalie mask; also, join in local groups in a special "Faith Night."

Thurs., March 15 vs. New Mexico: Chick-Fil-A Family Night - 4 tickets, 4 meals, 4 programs for $30; Corporate Sponsors include West Texas Radio.

Fri., March 16 vs. Wichita Falls: It's Shriner's Weekend, and the Jackalopes will be wearing special Shriner's jerseys both nights to help raise funds for the Shriner's Children's Hospital in what's become an annual event at the Ector County Coliseum. Also, one lucky fan will claim Slapjack's four-wheeler - courtesy of Family Powersports. The drawing will be conducted during the 2nd intermission.

Sat., March 17 vs. Wichita Falls: Shriner's Weekend will be capped off with a post-game jersey auction to help raise funds for the Shriner's Children's Hospital. In addition, the very recliners used for McMinn's Best Seat in the House will be given away during the 2nd intermission.

The Odessa Jackalopes will celebrate their 15th Anniversary in 2011-12 and drop the puck on their inaugural campaign as a member of the North American Hockey League. Season tickets, mini-plans, and single game tickets are available by calling (432) 552-7825 or visiting jackalopes.org.
