Elmira, NY - The Elmira Jackals announced today the details of their 2006 Summer Hockey Camp to be held in August at the First Arena.
The Elmira Jackals 2006 Summer Hockey Camp has been set for the week of August 7th - 11th at the First Arena. Come learn from the best in Professional Hockey. The Jackals Hockey Camp instructors are dedicated to being the best at teaching the many skills and concepts involved in making each student a better hockey player.
Jackals/First Arena General Manager Robbie S. Nichols and Jackals Head Coach Kris Waltze headline the Camp's coaching team, which includes Jackals defenseman Chris Mann, newly signed forwards Scott Wray and Brent Cullaton and other UHL stars to be announced. The week-long camp is open to all youth ages and skill sets.
This high-tempo hockey school is geared towards advanced training, with the following areas of focus: Skating, Puck Control, Shooting & Scoring Techniques, Passing & Receiving at Full Speed, Team Play Concepts, Checking and Power Skating.
"We are proud to bring back the Jackals Hockey School," said General Manager Robbie S. Nichols. "It will be a camp where area hockey players can receive top quality instruction and expert hockey technique in their own backyard. Fans mark your calendars for August 7th - 11th because we will open the camp to the public, giving all Jackals supporters their first on-ice look at new players Brent Cullaton and Scott Wray."
