The Dallas Jackals lost in a heroic effort against the Chicago Hounds on Saturday night at Choctaw Stadium by the score of 29-28.
After going down a 14-0 hole, the Jackals rallied quickly after the first hydration break with a pair of quick strikes. Aco Moroni scored a try aided by a successful Ale Torres conversion. Then, Danny Christensen blew through a gap in the Chicago line to tally a bonus try,.
The sides entered the sheds tied 14-14.
Chicago went ahead 20-14, but penalty try favoring Dallas returned the lead to the Pack, 21-20.
The Jackals fell behind again, but countered with a second penalty try of the night.
In a last push, Chicago was able to jump ahead 29-28.
The Jackals couldn't regain the lead.
