Jackals Announce Team Golf Tournament

Elmira, NY - The Elmira Jackals announced today that they are holding a Jackals Golf Tournament on October 8th at Mark Twain Golf Course.
Elmira's hometown hockey team is holding a golf tournament in three weeks time. The 1st Annual Jackals Golf Tournament is scheduled for Sunday, October 8th, 2006 at Mark Twain Golf Course in Elmira. Registration will begin at 11:30 am with a Shotgun start set for 1:00 pm and a Meet the Jackals Team Buffet & Silent Auction following the conclusion of play. The tournament will be a 5-person scramble format, where all foursomes will be matched up with a Jackals player and/or staff member.
"Whether you are a seasoned golfer or a duffer, this is one golf tournament that you do not want to miss," said General Manager Robbie S. Nichols. "It will be a great time for the players and team members to meet with fans and local sponsors. It should be a really fun day for everyone."
The Jackals welcome individual golfers as well as foursomes for their 1st Annual Tournament; any interested single golfers will be placed with a team. If you are not a golfer, but would like to attend the Meet The Team Buffet & Silent Auction, the cost is only $20.00 per person. Hole sponsorships for the Jackals Golf Tournament are also available.
