
Iverson to Denver, Santa Claus to Buzz

Maywood Buzz News Release
Maywood, CA - Maywood Buzz Head Coach/General Manager Burrel Lee III announced one day after the Denver Nuggets of the NBA traded for one of the biggest names in the league, And 1 Star Kenny Brunner AKA Santa Claus has joined the Buzz. "I have known KB for many years, since he was in high school. He was an awesome player then and it will be great get the chance to coach him and add him to what we believe is already a great team" stated Lee.
Brunner who was a 2005-2006 ABA All-Star and also played with the Southern California Legends last season. "Kenny will fit well with our lineup. This is will give us the chance to move Will Burr over to the 2 guard spot and also free him for many more shots" added Lee.
The Buzz who also added 6'6 Forward Lamar Gayle and 6'5 Derrick Anderson (Pepperdine) to their squad.
The Buzz have a total of 4 former ABA All-Stars on their roster from last season....

Ramel Lloyd - Buzz
Will Buzz - LA Aftershock
Kenny Brunner - SoCal Legends
And also with former NBA All-Star Cedric Ceballos on the roster the Buzz are looking to run away with the West and make their run to the ABA Crown.
The Buzz travel to Sacramento on Friday, December 22nd to play the Sacramento Heatwave and then back home on Saturday, December 23rd to play the Beijing Aoshen. The game on December 23rd will be played at the MAC the home of the Maywood Buzz and it will also be out 1st Annual Buzz Toy Drive where if you bring an unwrapped toy valued at $10 or less you will recieve one free general Admission ticket. Also all kids in grades K-8th are in free that night.
