November 14, 2002 â The Chicago Rush is kicking off its fall advertising campaign, and the team is looking for some help from Chicagoland football fans. The campaign, which focuses on the high-scoring nature of the Arena Football League, is entitled: Chicago Rush Arena Football...It's all about the scoring.

The fall campaign was created to emphasize the incomparable, high-scoring nature of the Arena Football League in which AFL teams routinely combine to score more than 100 points a game.
"The key factor that keeps our fans coming back season after season is the unbelievable scoring," said Curt Gruber, Rush director of marketing. "It's what separates our sport from the competition and makes Rush games the most action-packed football you'll ever see.
The team's ad campaign will feature radio, TV and print executions throughout the fall. During December and January, Rush billboards on Interstate 90 near Allstate Arena will feature several of the best tagline suggestions.
Fans interested in contributing a tagline will be asked to log onto the Chicago Rush Web site at www.chicagorush.com and suggest a tagline. Fans also may enter a suggestion by calling the team at (877) Rush-Tix (787-4849).
The Rush finished its 2002 season with a 10-6 overall record and advanced to the AFL semifinals. Chicago kicks off its 2003 AFL season Sunday, February 2, at Allstate Arena against the Orlando Predators. Fans wishing to purchase season tickets, starting at $64, should call the Rush or visit the team's Web site.
