Greenville Drive News Release

Greenville, SC - Due to the inclement weather that has plagued the Upstate throughout the day, and is predicted to continue throughout the evening, Saturday's series opening game between the Drive and Lexington Legends has been postponed.

The two teams will meet at Fluor Field on Sunday for a doubleheader, with first pitch for game one set for 4 PM.

Game two of the double dip will start approximately one-half hour after the conclusion of the first game.

Both will be seven inning contests.

Those fans holding tickets to tonight's game may exchange them at the Fluor Field Box Office for any remaining 2010 home game, subject to availability.

Tickets for Sunday's regularly scheduled game will allow fans access to Fluor Field for both games of the doubleheader.

Despite the postponement of Saturday's game, the Drive's starting pitchers will not be affected, due to a scheduled off day on Wednesday.

Right-hander Kendal Volz (2-0, 2.08 ERA) will toe the rubber for Greenville in game one, while left-hander Manuel Rivera (1-1, 3.21 ERA) goes in game two.

In addition, Reggy "The Purple Party Dude" will be at Fluor Field during Sunday's games, entertaining the crowd with his crazy antics.
