Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release

Down to their final 16 games of the regular season, the IronPigs (68-60) play Game One of a four-game series against the West's third-place Toledo Mud Hens (52-76) at Coca-Cola Park... With a 4-2 loss to the Bisons last night, the Pigs split the four-game series in Buffalo and remain one game out of the Wild Card. Since July 6, the Pigs have gone just 17-24 in their last 41 contests -- going from a season-high 3.0-games up to 4.0-games back in the North... Toledo -- Detroit's top affiliate -- won last night 6-2 to split a four-game series in Syracuse. Suddenly hot Toledo has won eight of its last 10 affairs after a six-game losing streak and a 3-15 span from July 21 to August 7. The Hens started 17-9 out of the gates before going 35-67 (.343) since May 4.

RHP Tyler Cloyd (12-1, 2.23) will start for LHV against RHP Thad Weber (7-11, 4.25)... Cloyd has won a LHV record 8 straight decision as well as 12 in a single-season. He leads MiLB in wins (15) and is 6th in ERA (2.16).

Tonight's game features post-game fireworks, presented by Lehigh Valley Financial Group... First-Pitch is set for 6:35 p.m.

WITH A WIN TONIGHT, THE PIGS WILL...:

* With a SWB win, avoid falling to 5.0 GB in the North Division -- which would tie their largest deficit of the season (6/16-6/17).

* With a PAW loss, move to a tie for the Wild Card with the Red Sox.
