The IronPigs (34-26) play the finale of a four-game series against the second-place Gwinnett Braves (33-28) at Coca-Cola Park... With a 5-2 win last night, the Pigs have now won five straight over the Braves (by a 40-11 total margin) and have improved to 4-2 on this rain-shortened, seven-game homestand. In addition, Lehigh Valley has won three straight overall and six of its last eight contests... The Braves -- Atlanta's top affiliate -- have dropped four straight games, which ties their season-long from two prior occasions. In addition, the Braves have lost eight of their last nine affairs since the Pigs snapped their five-game winning streak on May 30 (their fourth, five-game win streak of 2012)... Next up for the Pigs is a four-game series in Syracuse starting tomorrow.

LHP Pat Misch (3-8, 5.01) will start for LHV against 2011 N.L. All-Star RHP Jair Jurrjens (3-3, 5.56).

Tonight game features Friday Night Fireworks, presented by Gildan... First-Pitch is set for 7:05 p.m...

With a win tonight, the Pigs will have their 6th sweep of the season -- and their 2nd in a four-game series (5/15-5/18 vs. IND)...

* It would also mark the Pigs first-ever sweep of Gwinnett (which swept LHV in a four game series 8/5-8/8/10 at CCP).

GENESIS 1:1 -- IN THE BIG-INNING:

Last night, the Pigs put forth a 5-run effort in the seventh inning for a 5-2 win -- marking their second, 5-R inning in as many nights (scored 5 in the second inning Wednesday for a 5-1 win)... The Pigs have now had at least one multi-run inning in 8 straight games.

* With the multi-run inning last night, the Pigs have now registered 17 in the last 83 innings (10 G) after just 2 in previous 86 frames.
