Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The fifth-place IronPigs (46-73) continue a four-game series and an eight-game, eight-day road trip with Game Two against the last-place Rochester Red Wings (45-76) -- Minnesota's top affiliate. Lehigh Valley was quieted offensively in a 5-1 loss in the series opener on Friday night. Lehigh Valley finished their most recent homestand 1-6 and the IronPigs have won just two of their last 17 affairs after winning six of seven, July 19-25... Rochester has won four consecutive games (matching a season-high; 7/21-7/24) after taking the final three games of a four-game home set from Gwinnett. They have gone 6-4 since dropping a season-high nine consecutive games from 7/25-8/2.
RHP Brandon Duckworth (5-4, 3.45) gets the start opposite LHP Jose Lugo (0-4, 6.20).
First-pitch tonight is at 7:05 p.m.
