Milwaukee Mustangs News Release

Tyre Young

Tyre Young is an explosive player on both sides of the football. Young brings a great deal of experience to the Iron roster this season. Young played for the Scranton Pioneers of the af2 in 2006, where he recorded 4.5 sacks and a forced fumble. Tyre went on to play two seasons with the Green Bay Blizzard, where his teammates acknowledged him as a great leader. Young's ability to play on both sides of the football makes him a great weapon for the Iron in 2009.

Quartez Vickerson

Quartez Vickerson possesses skills unique as his name. At 6'6 and 289 pounds, Vickerson is a defensive specialist with a knack for getting to the quarterback. Quartez attended Grand Valley State University, where he helped propel his team to a 51-4 record and a Division II National Title. Quartez went on to anchor one of the af2's strongest defenses last season, also playing for the Green Bay Blizzard. He is the brother of Miami Dolphins DT, Kevin Vickerson.

Scott Burnoski

Scott Burnoski is a human highlight reel. Scott is one of the most talented receivers in all of af2. He led the Green Bay Blizzard in receptions and reception yards in 2008. The Stevens Point native was named Schutt Offensive Player of the Game on multiple occasions. Burnoski's speed, combined with his Velcro hands and exceptional route running, make him a perfect weapon for the Iron in 2009. He currently lives in Green Bay.

Gustavius Tyson

Gus is a rock solid performing fullback/linebacker. He was named to the 2008 All-Iron man team as a member of the Green Bay Blizzard. This year he's all Iron, as in Milwaukee Iron.

Donnie Amadi

Donnie Amadi would be playing in the AFL if it had played its 2009 season. The University of Kansas graduate played for the Green Bay Blizzard in 2008 recording 23 solo tackles and 29 total tackles. Coach Compton calls Amadi an outstanding player he's delighted to have on board.
