There's been an awakening. Have you felt it?

The Intimidators open the Second Half of the season with a 7-game home stand June 23-29 featuring Star Wars Night on Saturday, June 25, with special Star Wars themed jerseys, a light saber giveaway for the first 100 kids, character appearances, and post-game fireworks set to the iconic Star Wars soundtrack. The Intimidators are scheduled to face the Delmarva Shorebirds (Baltimore Orioles) for four games June 23-26 following by a three-game set against the Rome Braves (Atlanta Braves) from June 27-29.

By using the garbage compactors on the detention level, the Intimidators have crammed several fan-favorite promotions into this week's games. The home stand starts with a Thirsty Thursday presented by Buffalo Wild Wings on June 23 and continues with Craft Beer Sampling presented by Cabarrus Brewing Company and Sonny's BBQ on Friday, June 24. Children are invited to Sunday's Kids Day presented by Cornerstone Church where they can make the Kessell Run around the bases after the game.

Four Intimidators play for Northern Division in SAL All-Star Game

Four Intimidators factored into the North Division's 2-1 win over the South division on Tuesday night at Whitaker Bank Ballpark in the 57th annual South Atlantic League All-Star Game. Zach Thompson came out of the bullpen for the Northern Division All-Stars and spun a perfect relief inning.

Fireworks on July 2 and July 4 for Independence Day

Tickets are now on sale for the third annual All-American Community Celebration and Fireworks presented by Windstream on Saturday, July 2, with gates opening at 6 p.m. and fireworks at 9:30 p.m. Plus get tickets for the Intimidators game on Monday, July 4, featuring post-game fireworks presented by the City of Kannapolis.

Intimidators 2016 Team Card Set now available

The 2016 Intimidators Team Card Set is now available in the Intimidation Station souvenir store featuring 35 players and staff including White Sox prospects Micker Adolfo, Johan Cruz, Luis Martinez, and Corey Zangari.

Thursday, June 23: Thirsty Thursday

Every Thursday is a Thirsty Thursday presented by Buffalo Wild Wings at Exit 54/Afton Ridge Shopping Center. Enjoy discounted draft beers along with $2 Pepsi products all game long.

Friday, June 24: Get Healthy Kannapolis

Join the Intimidators as we promote healthy living in our community with discounted tickets for fans that complete our physical challenge at the box office plus 2-for-1 healthy snacks at concessions stands.

Also this Friday: Craft Beer Sampling

Enjoy craft beers from Cabarrus Brewing Company and Foothills Brewery at this week's Craft Beer Sampling, presented by catered by Sonny's BBQ. Plus take home an Intimidators souvenir mug.

Saturday, June 25: Star Wars Night

Dress up as your favorite Star Wars character and join us for Star Wars Night. The team will don special Star Wars themed jerseys. The game will feature Star Wars character appearances and Star Wars trivia and a light saber giveaway to the first 100 kids.

Post-game Saturday: Fireworks

Stick around after Saturday night's game for a fantastic fireworks display set to the iconic Star Wars soundtrack presented by the SpringHill Suites in Concord.

Sunday, June 26: Kids Day

Sunday is Kid's Day presented by Cornerstone Church at 5:05 p.m. featuring pre-game player's autograph (4:20 p.m. to 4:40 p.m.) plus post-game kids run the bases. And all kids tickets are only $5. Sunday is also ACN Charity Spotlight Night.

Get 2-for-1 tickets on Tuesday when you show any Arby's proof-of-purcahse. This week we have 2-for-1 corn dogs at the main concessions stand, 2-for-1 nachos & cheese at the snack shack, and 2-for-1 seat cushions in the team store.
