Internationalz Announces New Head Coach
May 12, 2008 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
NYC Internationalz News Release
New York City, NY. "Allow me to introduce our head Coach; he is an NAACP recipient, All-American athlete, and technologist. Above all, his commitment to community and actively teaching the yough life skills through technology and basketball, with progression towards development of virtual classrooms throughout the South Bronx has deemed him the notary of community legend," stated Anwar Sharhan, co-owner of the ABA NYC Internationalz expansion basketball team that begins play this fall.
"Michael Logan was born in Harlem and grew up in the South Bronix. Although receiving many sports accolades, the tough streets of New York City enveloped him; education and technology inspired him to learn with an established knowledge to share his passion of sports and technology. We call him Logan'z Heroes as a joke because his motto has always been a bridge from Holcombe Rucker's "each one teach one," phrased - "don't give up on our youths today because they may give up on your tomorrow," added Harvey Li, co-owner.
"Michael Logan has coached several sports teams; his responsibility to community and dedication to hard work are the caveats the NYC Internationalz will benefit from as a championship title nears closer this inaugural season, and believe you me, Mike Can Make It Happen," said Mr. Li.
