Aces look for NBA players
May 12, 2008 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Las Vegas Aces News Release
Las Vegas, NV. The ABA Las Vegas Aces, playing their first season in Las Vegas this fall, are on the lookout for former NBA players. "Our 2008-2009 roster will be filled with the names of basketball greats that we have come to know and love," stated team owner/GM Todd Tripplett. "We're looking for former NBA players and some European Ballers too! If you still got game, we want you!"
See what the hype is all about. Join the Las Vegas Aces at the High Rollin' Basketball Camp in Las Vegas July 10th-12th. "What I want to do is put these former NBA players on the floor against some of the younger players and show them what professional basketball is all about. It should be great fun, great competition, and definitely a crowd pleaser," added Triplett. For details, email gm4aces@yahoo.com or visit www.abalive.com.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
