May 30, 2008 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
NYC Internationalz News Release

New York City, NY. The ABA New York City Internationalz professional basketball team that begins play in December today introduced its new web site - www.nyciz.com. The site is loaded with information about this exciting and unique new team that captures the heart and soul and ethnic diversity of the great city of New York. "It is not easy to make an impact in sports in New York City with the Mets, Yankees, Giants, Rangers, Knicks and other great teams," stated co-owner Anwar Sharhan. "But we are because we are taking our message right into the communities and are getting people involved at the grassroots level. They are understanding that there is something very special happening with the NYC Internationalz and that fans can truly become a part of this organization. We are very up close and very personal - and the people of New York have wanted a team that truly represented them. We hope you will check out our web site." For more information, email asharhan@nyciz.com or Harvey Li at hli@nyciz.com or call 212 400 7108 or visit www.nyciz.com or www.abalive.com.

Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
