
International Basketball League's Oregon Waves To Attend Tryout This Weekend In Los Angeles

The International Basketball League's Oregon Waves will attend the Los Angeles Lightning tryouts on April 17th and 18th at Cal Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, California.
The tryout times are 1:00 - 4:00pm on Saturday April 17 and then 1:00 - 3:00pm on Sunday April 18th.
The cost is $150 for the two days of workouts/tryouts.
The Oregon Waves open up their season at Los Angeles on May 15th and 16th. The game on the 16th will be played in Santa Barbara and televised on Fox TV. This will be a rematch of the 2009 IBL Championship game. The Waves coach who will be evaluating players is Johnnie Parker.
The Lightning, who captured the International Basketball League title last July with six former NBA players, is starting its third season. Coach Ron Quarterman and team owner Mark Harwell will make the evaluations for the Lightning.
