Facing the Former Squad - Jeremy Rafanello will face his former club, Indy Eleven, for the second time this season. The Delran, New Jersey native made nine appearances, logged 310 minutes, and scored his first professional goal with Indy in 2020.
Home, Sweet Home - Red Bulls II will return to MSU Soccer Park, where it will play five of its next six matches. Following its July 23 meeting with Monterey Bay F.C., New York will host a four-match homestand spanning July 31 to August 12, which is the longest of the season.
Training Quotes
"We know on Friday it's not going to be an easy game. We just have to focus on us and try to use our week. I think the week has been good, everyone knows what we've been doing, and everyone is ready for the game on Friday." - Ibrahim Sekagya
"They're a team that likes to be on the ball and play and not really press much. They're an older squad, and they have a lot of players that are still there from when I was there. Going forward, our pieces have been fitting in but it's more the fact that it's another test tomorrow, so I think it's a good one and we're looking forward to it." - Jeremy Rafanello
