INF Bonilla Returns from Tacoma, INF Brady to High Desert

JACKSON, TENN. - The Seattle Mariners have made the following roster move that effects the Jackson Generals roster. INF Leury Bonilla has been activated from AAA Tacoma and INF Patrick Brady has been transferred to A+ High Desert.

Bonilla, 28, played in six games for AAA Tacoma after being sent from Jackson on April 19th. Bonilla batted .400 (8x20), with a double and two RBI. Bonilla added three multi-hit games with the Rainiers including a three-hit game on April 20th at Salt Lake. In six games with the Generals, Bonilla is batting .167 (2x12) with an RBI. Bonilla was signed as a non-drafted free agent by the Mariners in 2002.

Brady, 23, joined the Generals on April 25th and appeared in two games for Jackson, batting .400 (2x5). Brady collected two hits in game one of the doubleheader in Chattanooga on Monday. He returns to A_ High Desert where he was batting .368 (7x19) in six games. Brady was the Mariners' 48th round draft choice in 2010 out of Bellarmine University.
