Week Four began on Friday night with a battle in the Atlantic East Division as the West Michigan ThunderHawks improved their record to 2-0, defeating the Rochester Raiders 59-55. The loss dropped the Raiders to 1-1. The ThunderHawks were trailing 55-51 late in the fourth quarter when RB Robert Height crossed the goal line for the fourth time in the game to put his team up 58-55. To seal the game, on the ensuing kickoff, the Raiders were unable to advance the ball out of their own end zone resulting in a rouge, a rule in the IFL which awards one point to the kicking team. Next week the Raiders will have their chance for revenge as they travel to take on the ThunderHawks in a Week Five Rematch on March 28th.
In the second game on Friday evening the Green Bay Blizzard (2-1) overpowered the La Crosse Spartans (0-2), 48-12.
