
Indoor Football League Names Week 12 Players of the Week

RICHMOND VA.- The Indoor Football League (IFL) has named QB Jeremy Sanders, RB Tobias Robinson, DL Mike Dell and KR Mike Tatum Vidswap.com Week 12 IFL Players of the Week.
Colorado QB Jeremy Sanders and RB Tobias Robinson have been named Vidswap.com's Co-Offensive Players of the Week. Reading DL Mike Dell and Everett KR Mike Tatum have been named Vidswap.com's Defensive Player of the Week and Special Teams Player of the Week, respectively.
IFL Offensive Player of the Week: Colorado QB Jeremy Sanders (6'2, 212, Baylor) and RB Tobias Robinson (5'11, 210, Indiana Univ. of Penn.) have been awarded as Co-Offensive Players of the Week for their role in the Ice's IFL - record 260 yard rushing performance. Each player ran for over 100 yards as Colorado beat the Wyoming Cavalry 59-46. Sanders, who started over incumbent QB David Knighton, ran for 124 yards and four touchdowns. He also completed 6 of 12 passes for 64 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Robinson carried the ball 13 times for 136 yards and two touchdowns. This is the first Co-Offensive Player of Week award in the IFL for 2012. Sanders and Robinson are also the first Colorado players to win a League Player of the Week award in 2012.
IFL Defensive Player of the Week: Despite a loss to the Cedar Rapids Titans, Dell (6'3,255, W. Chester) put in a very stout performance for the Reading Express. Dell finished the game vs. Titans with 7 tackles, 2.5 sacks and 5.5 tackles for loss. In addition, he forced a fumble and blocked a field goal attempt. Dell currently has eight sacks on the season which is tied for third in the IFL. Reading has now been awarded back-to-back Defensive Player of the Week awards. DB Marcus Sargeant was awarded Defensive Player of the Week last week.
IFL Special Teams Player of the Week: Everett KR Mike Tatum (5'9,160, Oxnard) was a big part in helping Everett score a franchise- record 74 points in victory over the New Mexico Stars 74-65. Tatum returned 10 kickoffs for an astounding 259 yards. He helped seal the Raptors victory as he also returned a kickoff 48 yards for a touchdown with 1:45 left in the game. Tatum also had three catches for 72 yards and a touchdown. Tatum finished the game with an IFL season high 331 All-Purpose yards. This is Tatum's second special Team Player of the Week nomination. He previously won in Week 3.
