
Individual game tickets on sale October 3

(Southfield, Mich., September 28, 2006) - Detroit Ignition individual game tickets will go on sale Tuesday, October 3, at 10:00 am ET at the club's ticket office, all TicketMaster locations, and on the internet at www.ticketmaster.com, team president Greg Bibb announced Thursday. All home games for the 2006-07 season will take place on Friday and Saturday nights at 7:35 pm ET, as well as Sunday afternoons at 4:35 pm ET. Compuware Sports Arena in Plymouth, Michigan will serve as the team's home venue.
"After over a year of planning and preparation, we are excited to finally be on sale with our tickets," Bibb stated. "We are looking forward to introducing the Major Indoor Soccer League to southeastern Michigan and to the beginning of our inaugural campaign."
On an individual game basis, the Ignition has two levels of seating options available in the Centerfield and Arena Bowl sections. The Centerfield option places ticket holders in the heart of the action, located in sections 102 and 103, fans cannot have a more centralized location for MISL action. Centerfield tickets are available for $40. The other individual game option is the Arena Bowl level, which makes up the majority of the arena. This section is available on an individual game basis for the just $22. All sections have just thirteen rows giving spectators an intimate and unparalleled sports entertainment experience. Season tickets, 5-Game Mini-Plans, Birthday Packages, group tickets, and Family 4-Packs are also available. Family 4-Packs include four game tickets, four sodas, and four hotdogs for $85.
The Ignition will open the club's inaugural 2006-07 campaign vs. the defending MISL Champion Baltimore Blast. Immediately following opening night's game, the first-year club will be holding an auction where fans will have the opportunity to bid on inaugural game jerseys. The auction will feature special edition, game-worn Ignition jerseys with inaugural game insignia.
