Trenton Titans News Release
TRENTON, N.J. - The Trenton Titans Hockey Team announced today it has sold out its in-ice logo availability for the 2012-2013 hockey season, requiring them to refocus sponsorship sales on dasher boards and corporate ticket packages.
The Titans' Join the Nation campaign is underway, focusing on the long standing history of close knit fans and partners of the Trenton Titans. To date the Titans' have sold all 10 in-ice logos a full three months prior to the start of the new 2012-2013 season. To put it in perspective, the Titans sold a total of four in-ice logos last season.
"We were pleasantly surprised by the corporate interest in partnering with us this year. It's given us the opportunity to really get creative and develop solid relationships with our partners. With all of our on ice logos sold, we are refocusing our corporate sales to include dasherboards and our corporate ticket package," said Rich Lisk, Titans' President and General Manager.
In addition to the traditional inventory, the Titans we will be offering the "When You Assist You Score" corporate ticket package. Last year in the month of December, the Titans offered the community oriented ticket package to allow for corporations to purchase tickets to be distributed to community groups in the Greater Trenton area. With over 3,000 tickets sold and distributed, the Titans will be implementing the successful program throughout the year.
"When you Assist You Score allows us to link our corporate partners with our community partners and provide them the opportunity to enjoy a game and introduce new and diverse fans to hockey," explains Sarah McQuarrie, Manager of Community Relations for the Trenton Titans. "It allows us to expand our outreach and charity work at the same time."
Corporate partnerships are only one part of the Nation campaign, which features a number of events and ticket packages focused on building Titans' Nation including Nation tour stops, ticket holder functions, on-line contests and promotional appearances to name a few. Upcoming tour dates and event information will be available on our website www.trentontitanshockey.com .
The Trenton Titans returned in the 2011-12 hockey season after a five year hiatus and boasted a 26.1% increase over the previous year, the largest of any team in the 20-team ECHL.
